2000 Subaru Legacy…With The Works!

We all work hard for our money, and in turn, enjoy and cherish what we buy with that hard earned money. Well unfortunately, in this world there are people out there who don’t care about that and decide that instead of working for a living, they will just take what other’s have earned. That is exactly what happened to this customer. We did an installation a couple months back in his 2000 Subaru Legacy, not just a run of the mill system either. This system consisted of an Eclipse AVN Navigation unit, Memphis Music Class Amplifiers, Top of the line A/D/S/ components, Memphis M1 12’s in a custom ported enclosure and enough Dynamat to sound proof your house! We even tinted the vehicle for him. The customer loved everything about this setup, the sound, the installation, the ability to navigate his way without worry. Basically we met every expectation he had… again, this was his 3^rd vehicle done by us. His love affair was cut short, very short. The next night, right in front of his house, his car was broken into; everything with the exception of the component speakers was gone. Fortunately, he had good insurance and a while later he was reimbursed for his loss.

Well last week it was time for us to outfit his Legacy again. He was so happy with his last setup (albeit short lived) he wanted the same setup again, with a couple of small changes though. The first one was he didn’t want to rely on his factory installed security system this time, so we installed a Viper alarm system for him. He also wanted darker tint on his back windows, so we re-tinted them with 5% tint. He also wanted the amplifiers hidden this time, so we installed them as well as his stiffening capacitor in a rack above his spare tire. This time his Navigation experience will be even better, the 2007 Eclipse AVN lineup is more KICK A@@ then ever! The unit he now has, the AVN6610BT has a “dual drive” system which allows you to play a DVD when he is stopped without removing his Navigation disc, so when he is ready to get back on the route, he doesn’t have to swap discs and start the guidance all over again, it is ready when he is! It also incorporates a full Bluetooth hands free kit as well. Technology is great! We then topped it all off by performing a full interior and exterior detail on the car, making the car look almost new again. Was he happy this time as well? More than ever!
