2003 GMC Envoy 2-way Remote Car Starter

This car came to us through Keystone Auto Sales. The customer wanted a remote car starter in their recently purchased 2003 GMC Envoy. Keystone called us and we decided on an Astrostart 4204 2-way system. This will let the customer start, stop, lock and unlock his doors up to 2000 feet away! If they ever want a status check, all they have to do is hit the “?” on the remote and the LCD will let them know if it is locked and if it is running!

The picture of the under dash wiring gives a pretty good indication of the level of skill that our technicians need to have to install a car starter. There are miles of wiring in most every car and we have to tie into the right ones at the right place. There isn’t a lot of room for error!
