One of our repeat clients from Henryville brought his 2004 BMW X5 to us to add a long-range remote start system. He wanted to control the SUV from far away, but still confirm it had received the commands he had sent to it. We knew exactly what he needed.
We installed a Compustar remote start system with an LCD remote, which allows full control of the remote start system and gives him visual indications of the vehicle status and command confirmation. This type of two-way remote control fob confirms functions of the vehicle after he presses a button, so he doesn’t have to be in a direct line of sight of his X5 for it to work. We were also able to hook up his rear defrost controls, and programmed a slick window roll-up function to one of the auxiliary buttons on the remote.
