A repeat client from Reading recently brought his 2015 Mercedes Benz E350 to Mobile Edge in search of a window tint upgrade. The Mercedes was a new vehicle to the client, and he wanted to protect the leather interior. He explained that the car will no longer be kept in the garage and wanted the protection. He also enjoyed the look of tinted glass in contrast with a white car. Our product specialists discussed the 3M Ceramic IR window tint, because the client liked the idea of film that protects from harmful UV rays and regulate the vehicle’s interior temperature. The client decided on 15% tint on all windows, with a visor strip on the windshield as well. He wished to have a more transparent sunroof tint, though, so we settled on 70% there.
We set our computer-controlled film plotter to work cutting the film. Our team began cleaning the glass to ensure the best adherence. Once prepared, we applied a slip agent, allowing us to apply the film, position it perfectly then squeegee it in place.
