A new client from Palmerton found us through a Google search and brought his 2017 Nissan Pathfinder by to get some heated seats installed. Our team looked over the vehicle and confirmed that we would be able to add the heated seat elements while safely maintaining the seat occupancy sensors integrated into the front seats from the factory.
We selected a system that provides selectable high and low heat settings. This allows both the driver and the passenger to dial up the perfect temperature individually. This type of system uses a rocker switch that will stay in the selected mode when the truck is turned off, allowing the seats to begin warming up immediately when the vehicle is started the next time. We mounted the switches in the center console, within sight and easy reach for adjusting them.
