One of our repeat customers from Lehighton brought her new 2018 Subaru Legacy sedan by for our team to suggest the right window tint. She wasn’t quite sure how dark she wanted the tint to be, so we walked her through different types of window film options, and showed her examples of the various shades of tint that are available. After looking through them and getting our expert opinion, she scheduled an appointment for a few days later and contemplate the decision about how dark to go.
We selected the 3M Color Stable window film with a dark 20% opacity rating that would provide privacy for the rear windows, and a lighter 35% opacity for the front side windows. This provides better visibility, but still blocks the unwanted glare and damaging UV rays and heat. The carbon-black color of the film looks like it was a factory option, and complements the looks of the Legacy while protecting both her and the interior of the vehicle.
