Sub and Amp Installation in 2004 Audi A4 Cabriolet

This 2004 Audi A4 Cabriolet came to us by way of a Nesquehoning client we had done work for before. It seemed that the system we installed had outlasted his last vehicle. In this project, we used an AudioControl interface to grab signal for the amp and sub we would be adding. We were able to mount the interface securely behind the glove box and route the signal cables and power wires to the trunk for the new sub amp. This was a bit of a task considering the convertible top. With the signal and power cables routed to the trunk the amplifier was mounted along the tire well on the passenger side of the vehicle as not to interfere with the mechanical top or factory ski slot. Seamless integration is a specialty at Mobile Edge. From a simple amp and sub package to a full-blown audio overhaul, upgrading the sound doesn’t mean sacrificing space or the factory look and feel.
