A client from Effort, PA, reached out to Mobile Edge to ask about a radio upgrade for his 2007 Hummer H3. He wanted something that would be easy to see, sound good and offer smartphone integration so he could use the voice recognition technology in his smartphone. After looking at a few options, he chose a Sony XAV-AX8100 for its massive 9-inch display and intuitive interface.
Our technicians removed the original radio to make way for the Sony receiver. We used an appropriate interface to allow the radio to work with the Monsoon-branded speakers and amplifier already in the vehicle. We also added a Momento MRC-300 backup camera to the rear of the big SUV so the driver can see everything behind the vehicle when driving.
