Custom dash and A-pillar pods allow us to place midrange drivers and tweeters in an optimal position to create an accurate and perfectly focused soundstage. We can create kick panel mounts for speakers in classic cars and hot rods to install midrange and midbass drivers that look as if they came with the vehicle. We can even paint the speaker grilles and trim rings to match the interior carpet and upholstery.

Custom fiberglass subwoofer enclosures for the cargo area of your car or truck are another popular solution. When we need every cubic inch of airspace to optimize the low-frequency performance of your subwoofer system, we can use resin-impregnated fiberglass sheets to create a vehicle-specific enclosure. These solutions are also popular under the rear seats of a pickup truck, in the spare tire well of a car or in the corner of the cargo area in an SUV. We finish the face of each enclosure to match the interior of the vehicle for a clean and tidy appearance.

Our woodshop is equipped to handle almost any custom project.
We’ve created a dedicated woodshop at Mobile Edge that allows us to work on custom projects without adding dust to the entire installation bay. The shop is equipped with a high-performance dust collection system that draws airborne particles from our Grizzly table saw and a pair of Woodpeckers router lifts. The router lifts are fundamental to our fabrication process and let us efficiently create composite speaker mounting rings or trim panels. We use premium quality adhesives, which won’t peel or bubble, to hold vinyl, upholstery and carpet in place.
Custom Fabricated Steel Amp Racks
This steel rack provides an amplifier mount and also holds the subwoofer enclosure securely in the trunk.
The steel racks we create to hold amplifiers and processors are one of our trademarks. We use flat bar and square channel steel to create rock-solid mounting solutions. We can incorporate mounts to secure subwoofer enclosures and mount stiffening capacitors and power distribution components to further improve the reliability and serviceability of the system.
Our welding table lets us fabricate steel mounting solutions with speed and accuracy.
Each component that we mount to the rack is held in place with machine screws that fasten to threaded holes in the steel. This mounting method ensures that everything will remain secure.
We have a dedicated welding table and chop saw with a metal blade that allow us to work efficiently. We finish all steel racks with corrosion-resistant paint, ensuring that they’ll look great for many years.

Creating a custom steel amp rack is the only way we’ll mount an amp; we don’t consider it an upgrade. We won’t screw them to a board hidden under the carpet, and we don’t use drywall screws or hook-and-loop fasteners to attach them to a seatback. Quite simply, every installation is executed to only the highest of standards.
