A new walk-in client from Jim Thorpe came in to see us about adding the darkest window tint possible to his 2006 Honda Pilot. His previous vehicles had used a similarly opaque window film on them, and it gives an impenetrable mirror-like finish to the glass. Having gotten so used to having that type of tint in the past, it was one of his first items to check off in the list for his new ride.
We selected the 3M Color Stable window film with an extremely dark 5% opacity rating that would provide privacy for the front, side and rear windows. This type of film blocks unwanted glare and damaging UV rays and heat. The deep carbon-black of the film will hold its color for many years to come, providing long-term protection for the vehicle interior and privacy for the occupants inside it.
