A client from Hazleton recently dropped by Mobile Edge to inquire about a 2017 Kia Sportage backup camera solution. After having a look at the vehicle, we showed the client several stand-alone camera option,s as well as the features available from a new multimedia receiver. The client liked the idea of having a real smartphone integration solution in the vehicle, so he opted for a Pioneer AVH-4201NEX radio.
The AVH-4201NEX includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration solutions. These technologies allow the client to communicate with friends and family, and choose entertainment options by talking to the radio. The system comes with a backup camera that we mounted on the rear of the vehicle. Finally, at the client’s request, we added a SiriusXM satellite radio tuner module to the truck.
Once the installation was complete, Bob reviewed how to use the new radio and helped the client pair his smartphone to the system.
