A new client from Stewartsville, NJ, had seen one of our posts about a heated seat installation, and wanted to find out about getting similar work done on his 2016 Ford F-350. The truck was not equipped with heated seats from the factory, and he wanted to add them before winter.
We selected the Rostra ComfortSeat system, which has selectable low and high heat settings, giving him the ability to adjust the heat output as needed. It also uses a rocker switch that will stay in the selected mode when the truck is turned off, allowing the seats to begin warming up immediately upon vehicle start. The carbon fiber heating elements provide quick warm-up and safe long-term use.
We mounted the switches near the 4-wheel-drive selector, in a place that can be seen and switch on and off easily while driving. While we had the truck, we added new seat covers as well to help protect the seats in harsh weather.
Don’t forget that you can take a relaxing day trip in our immediate area while we work on your vehicle. Check out this page for local attraction recommendations and travel info to help you plan your trip.
