One of our repeat clients brought his 2017 Subaru Crosstrek to us to get a complete audio upgrade for his ride. He was looking for louder sound and more bass in the vehicle, so we got right to it.
We selected a Hertz HCP4 amplifier to power the Prima APK165 component speakers in the front, and added sound-damping material to reduce road noise and create a better listening environment. This amplifier also powers a DS30 subwoofer in a pre-fabricated enclosure to add some bass impact and complete the system upgrade. We used Audison Connection wiring throughout the system, and even protected the subwoofer with a grille to protect it from cargo rolling around in the back.
