1999 Honda Civic Audio Upgrade and Window Tint

This Pocono Lake client’s 1999 Honda Civic needed some upgrading. The car was in good shape but the audio system was showing its age and the windows were just so….clear.  Bob took care of the windows by applying Carbon window film all the way around. The audio system fell squarely on Mike’s shoulders. First, the radio was replaced with a new JVC receiver complete with USB and Bluetooth for both hands free phone operation and streaming audio, bringing the tech level into the 21st century. All four factory speakers were replaced. Memphis Audio 6 by 9 inch speakers were installed in the rear hat deck and the front doors were fitted with Hertz Audio Energy series components. The Hertz Mid-Bass drivers mounted directly in the factory locations and the tweeters were custom cut into the door’s sail panels. A Memphis Audio 5 Channel amplifier bolted to the rear seat and powered the entire system. A pair of Memphis Power Reference 12″ sub woofers in a sealed enclosure provided the bottom end and this Civic was ready to party…. Like it’s 1999!
