A client from Jim Thorpe had a pretty straight forward request for us recently. He wanted a portable satellite radio tuner installed in his Nissan Frontier. He did not want an elaborate installation. He simply wanted the unit mounted sturdy and did not want to have wires everywhere. After we decided on a location for the tuner with the help of the client, the tuner and antenna were mounted and the wires were loomed neatly into the dash. The power for the system was hard-wired into the vehicle for a clean appearance. This left the power port on the dash free to charge other devices. We also connected the audio directly into the factory Nissan radio with a wired FM Modulator. This gave the client the best audio connection free of static and bleed through of broadcast FM.
