One of our regular clients from Kunkletown brought his 1977 Chevrolet Pickup to us about getting his audio system upgraded. This wild green pickup is huge, and he needed big sound to fill it! We sorted through his priorities and some options, and dove right in to get it upgraded.
We removed an older aftermarket car radio someone had installed, and repaired the mounting area by making a custom kit for the new radio. We installed a Kenwood KD-RD98BTS that provides him a standard fare of connection options like USB, Bluetooth streaming and calling, and a CD player.
We mounted a pair of Memphis Car Audio PRX603 speakers in the front doors and the rear doors. We took special care to keep the factory window handles functional while we hand-built the mounting rings for them. We ran all new wires to the radio and the speakers to be sure our client would have reliable operation of the system for years to come.
