A client from New Ringgold brought his 2016 Ford Focus ST to Mobile Edge to have the windows tinted. The customer had several upgrade plans for his new hot hatch, and window tinting was the first thing on his list. We showed the client the different films we offer and different light transmission levels available in each. He chose 3M Color Stable film in a 20% grade.
For a relatively small vehicle, a new Focus takes a bit of work to tint. There are three windows on each side of the car and, of course, the rear hatch. The client also asked us to install a strip of tint across the top of the windshield. Some call this extra strip a visor, some call it an eyebrow. Whatever you call it, it’s a great feature and really helps when you are driving towards the sun as it is setting.
