A recent Palmerton client’s wife came to Mobile Edge looking to replace the radio in her husband’s 2010 GMC Canyon as a holiday gift. Come to find out, the radio had to be replaced because the factory buttons were sticking and no longer functioned correctly. After showing her the many different models we offer, she chose the Sony XAV-9500ES as the perfect radio for the vehicle.
The Sony XAV-9500ES is a digital multimedia receiver with many upgraded features compared to the client’s factory radio, like Bluetooth and wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto. Because the unit is touchscreen, the client no longer has to worry about buttons sticking.
Our expert technicians began the installation process by first removing the factory radio. Once that was removed, we installed the Sony receiver using a dash kit and wiring harness from Metra Electronics, built specifically for integration with this truck. Our client was thrilled with the new radio and upgraded features.
