A new walk-in client from Lehighton brought his 1999 Jeep Wrangler in to see about getting a new radio that could add Bluetooth capability. His audio system wasn’t working, and he wanted to take the opportunity to add hands-free calling to the vehicle while we were troubleshooting it.
During our diagnosis, we found that three of the four speakers had failed, causing the audio system failure. We communicated our findings to the client, and he opted to replace the speakers with our Hertz Dieci coaxial speakers. We used the Hertz DCX460 in the front and the Hertz DCX130 in the rear.
We replaced the older radio with a new Pioneer unit that adds Bluetooth connectivity with his phone for easy calling while he’s driving.
We also removed an unneeded old line-output converter that the customer had no idea was in the vehicle, and the system sounded great!
