One of our regular clients reached out to our team about upgrading the radio in his 2018 Subaru Forester with new technology. He had recently purchased a new radio for his son’s car and wanted to get something that would one-up him. He was also interested in getting hands-free smartphone technology like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in the vehicle.
After we showed him a few radios and demonstrating how each would work with his phone, he selected the Pioneer AVH-W4500NEX that offers a large 6.92″ touchscreen and the ability to use Apple Maps or Google Maps for navigation. He can play music from his favorite streaming music services from the screen of the radio instead of fiddling with his phone while driving, which increases his safety. We were able to retain his factory steering wheel control buttons to work with the new radio for easy control during his commute.
