One of our repeat clients from Whitehall contacted us about getting a navigation radio upgrade for his 2014 Hyundai Elantra. He wanted to retain the factory features in the car, like the built-in controls in the steering wheel, but add navigation and a backup camera to it.
We went over some options with him and selected a feature-loaded Pioneer AVIC-W8400NEX. This radio gives him the ability to use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, and also has built-in navigation so he can continue mapping in areas where cellular signal might be too weak for those resources to work. We added a Momento MR-C300 license plate-mounted backup camera to provide visibility when the car is in reverse, and we used a Metra integration module to retain his steering wheel controls.
