The remote includes two-way connectivity, so you get feedback via the three LEDs on the face of the remote that your car has started, or the doors have locked or unlocked. These LEDs will also let you know what percentage of your total remote start run time is left.
Convenient and Durable Solution
This remote, also known as the two-way Slice Jr. is small and thin. If you have a bulky car key with a built-in remote for door locks, the Slice Jr. makes a great, low-key compliment. The body of the remote is made of durable injection-molded plastic and features a rubber gasket around the button and perimeter. This gasket makes the remote water-resistant. We don’t suggest you run it through the washing machine – but it should have no problem surviving a drop in a puddle or snow bank.
Easy to Use
The two-way Slice Jr. couldn’t be easier to use. A quick press of the single button locks the vehicle’s doors and arms the alarm (if you purchased an alarm). Pressing the button twice within 1 second will unlock your doors and disble the alarm. Holding the button down for 3 seconds activates the remote starter process. The LEDs all flash for the first 50% of the run time, then only two flash when you have 50% left, then one flashes when there is only 25% left. The start icon flashes faster when only 60 seconds are left.
