When clients are looking for the best window tint installation with premium products, they choose Mobile Edge in Lehighton. Unlike most window tinting facilities, we focus on providing our clients with an appropriately qualified tint solution. There are more window film options available than most people realize. We educate our customers so they can make informed decisions. Read on to find out why Mobile Edge is the leader in window tinting in eastern Pennsylvania.
The Window Tint Purchasing Experience
When you come to Mobile Edge in search of a window tint solution, we will start by asking you several questions. Is your goal purely cosmetic? How much time do you spend in your vehicle each day? Is your car purchased or leased? These questions and more will help us home in on the right film selection for your application.
We have constructed a fully interactive window tint film display in our showroom so you can experience the light transmission and thermal rejection properties of the films we offer. Many clients think that a darker film blocks more heat. While this is true with in most film series, we provide products like 3M Crystalline that can reject more heat energy with a 70% film than some 5% films. Our display will let you experience these IR energy rejection properties for yourself. You can quickly feel the difference in heat rejection that the different film series offer.
3M Black Shade – If you are looking for an economic window film solution, Black Shade may be the answer. This dyed polyester film has a Sun Protection Factor (SPF) equivalent of 100 and will reduce fading of your leather and fabrics. Black Shade is an attractive window tint solution for leased vehicles.
3M FX Premium – The FX Premium film series from 3M offers at least 95% UV rejection to protect you and the interior of your car or truck from the sun’s energy. FX Premium is a dyed film that will not affect cellphone, GPS navigation or satellite radio reception. If you are looking for long-term performance and reliability, we offer a five-year warranty on FX Premium. We offer FX Premium in 25% and 35% shades.
3M Color Stable – If a rich, dark tint job is what you are after, no film choice is better than the 3M Color Stable series. This nano-carbon polyester film carries a Limited Lifetime Warranty that includes bubbling, peeling, cracking, fading or turning purple. Color Stable will not affect radio frequency transmission or reception. We stock Color Stable films in 5%, 20% and 35% shades.
3M Ceramic IR – This new film is constructed with a nano-ceramic technology that blocks two-thirds of the total heat energy from the sun. On a hot summer day, the interior of your vehicle won’t get as hot, and when you fire up the air conditioning, the vehicle will cool off faster and be easier to keep comfortable. Ceramic IR keeps you and your passengers safer by blocking 99% of UV energy from entering your vehicle. That’s like wearing a sunscreen lotion with a Sun Protection Factor (SPF) of more than 1,000. Unlike films that use microscopic metallic particles to block heat, the ceramic construction of this film won’t affect the reception performance of your cellphone, keyless entry system, portable navigation system or tire pressure monitoring technology. This film carries a Limited Lifetime Warranty that includes bubbling, peeling, cracking, fading or turning purple.
3M Crystalline – This product is the industry benchmark for IR and UV energy rejection in a window film. 3M Crystalline combines more than 200 layers of nano-technology into a film that is thinner than a Post-It Note. Our 3M Crystalline 40% and 70% solutions offer better UV and IR energy rejection than most 5% shades. The UV blocking properties of Crystalline are so impressive that the American Cancer Society specifically suggests Crystalline as a way to reduce the risks involved with prolonged exposure to the sun while in a vehicle. Crystalline films are back by the same warranty as the Color Stable series and will not affect radio frequency signal transmission or reception.
Our Premium Window Tint Installation Process
Before we even think about unrolling film onto your windows, we need to complete several critical processes. We protect the interior of your car from slip solution overspray with plastic sheets and masking tape – we do not want water getting into the window and power lock switches, or on your leather, vinyl or fabrics. Our glass cleaning process verges on the fanatical. Every ounce of contaminant and every speck of dust must be removed from your windows before we can install your tint, because debris will cause visible air pockets under the tint. Our standard is perfection.
Once we have cut the window film and shrunk it to fit any curved glass surfaces, then the installation process begins.
After-sales Service and Support
Mobile Edge stands behind every product we sell and every service we offer. We back all of our window film installations with a warranty against peeling, bubbling, fading or turning purple. The warranty period varies depending on the film series used. If you have any questions or concerns after we have tinted your windows, give us a call or drop by the store.
