A repeat client from Walnutport recently came to Mobile Edge in search of a remote car starter for his 2014 Ford F-150. We had installed a remote start system in his Ford Escape a few years ago, through the dealer.
When he discussed his needs with our product specialists, we discovered he wanted to have an external remote but did not think that was an option. We recommended a remote start system with a one-button remote. After seeing the options available, he also decided to add this type of remote to his Ford Escape.
We began the installation process on the F-150 by first carefully removing the necessary panels for access to the correct wiring. Then we safely wired the remote start system into the vehicle. Once that was complete and we thoroughly tested its function, we called the client to let him know the vehicle was done.
We demonstrated to the client how the system worked, and he was very pleased. He noted that this not only added range to his system in the truck and the Escape, but it also removed the unintentional starts caused by clicking the lock button on the Escape’s fob one too many times.
