A repeat client from Jim Thorpe recently returned to Mobile Edge with his 2021 Audi Q7 in search of a remote start system. He wanted the newly added feature to be a gift for his wife. Our product specialists demonstrated the different models and features of the remote starters we offer, and the client chose a Compustar PRO system. This system features a long-range two-way remote and DroneMobile telematics.
Our team of experts then began the system’s installation process. Gone are the days of remote starters with many wires and cumbersome installations. This Compustar system is a minimally invasive, vehicle-specific system with a vehicle-specific harness and firmware that allows the system to speak directly with the vehicle. We were able to install the system and test its functionality with much more efficiency than ever before.
Installation does require the use of a valid ignition key; this will become a part of the remote starter system. We always recommend that any needed copies of keys are made prior to the installation of a remote starting system.
Once the installation was complete, we asked the customer to return so we could show him how the remote starter functioned. He was pleased with the new feature!
