A new client’s father from Jim Thorpe wanted to get a remote start for his son’s 2016 Audi Q3 for the holiday season. He was referred to us by a friend we had done work for. Once we evaluated the vehicle, we scheduled an appointment to put a Compustar remote start system in the vehicle.
On European vehicles, it is common to give up one of the original keys to use while integrating the remote start system. However, the Compustar system avoids that, saving money and the loss of a key. We originally installed the system to be controlled by the factory key fobs, but the client realized he would want greater range than those provide, so we upgraded the installation with a Compustar remote package to accomplish that.
