A repeat client from Sciota brought his 2018 BMW 530i to Mobile Edge for some stylish window tint. We’ve tinted multiple vehicles for this client, so he was aware of our process. In fact, he’s told us that we are the first stop he makes after picking up a new (to him) vehicle. After meeting with our product specialists, he decided on the 3M Ceramic IR tint film with a 5% shade on all windows, as well as a matching visor on the windshield.
Then, it was time to get to work. We cut the film using our computer-controlled film plotter. Meanwhile, our team began cleaning the vehicle’s windows to ensure the film would adhere correctly. Once we had the vehicle ready, we applied a slip agent, positioned the film and then squeegeed it in place. As always, we re-inspected the vehicle upon completion to make sure the quality of the installation was to our standards.
Just as he was with previous window tint jobs, the client was very pleased with the result.
