A client was recently referred to Mobile Edge by a friend to have her 2021 Toyota Camry upgraded with a remote car starter system. She had received a gift card, and was able to use it to pay for the equipment and installation.
Her Camry has a push-to-start ignition system, so our product specialists were able to recommend a system that would allow for the factory proximity unlock feature to remain functional. The client opted for a one-button remote to control the system. She was able to add it to her keychain with her factory fob, so she could start the vehicle remotely and continue to operate it as normal, as well.
We then went to work on installing the system. We carefully connected the system control module to the vehicle and neatly routed all wiring. Once the installation was complete, we thoroughly tested the functionality of the system before returning the vehicle to the client.
