A client from Slatington, PA, brought their 2006 Honda Accord to Mobile Edge in search of a remote car starter to give as a gift. We get a lot of people who want to give starters as gifts, so we knew exactly what to do. We confirmed the client’s needs in terms of features and remote control range. Based on that information, we proposed the Compustar 2W1BSP remote control package.
We gave the remote control to the client so they could take it home and wrap it up as a gift. We had already made an appointment to perform the installation on the vehicle once the gift was in the hands of its recipient. All of our installations receive the same attention to detail. We solder each and every connection and wrap all the wiring with Tesa cloth tape to ensure there will be no buzzes or rattles once the client starts driving.
The 2W1BSP remote is easy to use, and offers 5x power range, or about 2,500 feet. The remote is a two-way design, so an LED confirms when a command has been received by the system’s brain.
The client was thrilled with the gift and the remote starter. Contact us here for more information.

Hi Mitchell
I recently bought a 2008 honda accord manual with a compustar 2 way remote start/alarm system installed. The car will only remote start in reservation mode. However if you start it normally you can start the vehicle without depressing the clutch, and it also can be in gear. Because of this it won’t pass my provinces safety for changing ownership to my name. Basically I need to have it work as it did from the factory for ten minutes so it safetys. then it can go back to how it is now. I see a blue wire coming from the upper clutch switch that gets depressed when the clutch is pushed in. Can I just snip the wire? and then hook it back up?
Thanks for any help regarding this
