A Swiftwater client found Mobile Edge by way of our online reviews and recently brought in his 2019 Mercedes Benz C300 for a unique stereo upgrade: He wanted more detail in the music he listened to. After we took the time to listen inside the vehicle, we recommended a re-amplification of the current sound system. This way, he would get the quality he craved while keeping his vehicle mostly factory. We decided on using a Audison APF8.9 BIT amplifier, which would give the client clarity with customization via the built-in digital signal processor.
We started the installation by locating the factory amplifier, so we could obtain the signal needed to run to the new amplifier. Once we had obtained the signal, we ran wiring for power and speakers. After that, we fabricated one of our signature steel amplifier mounting solutions to prevent the equipment from moving around unnecessarily during driving. Once we had installed all the equipment and tested everything for function, our team of experts configured crossovers, time delay and equalization settings to make the music come to life.
The client was pleased to hear his revamped sound system.
