A client from Lehighton, Pennsylvania, brought his 2015 Dodge Challenger to Mobile Edge to have the windows tinted. We showed him several options in terms of tint film and discussed the benefits of each. He chose 3M Color Stable film in a 35% grade. While discussing the tinting process, he noticed our remote car starter display and asked about the feasibility of adding that to his vehicle as well.
The client picked a Compustar one-button two-way remote based on its compact size. The Slice Jr. remote (as it is known) offers up to 2,500 feet of communication range. The remote also has three LEDs, so the client will know when the vehicle is locked, unlocked or started. For expanded range, we added a DroneMobile smartphone integration system to the starter package. With the app on his phone, he can start his car from anywhere that he and the car both have a cellular data signal.
With the windows tinted and looking great, and the starter installed, it was time for the client to return to Mobile Edge in Lehighton to pick up his car. He loved the way the tint looked and was anxious to try the starter.
