In this 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe, we cleaned up the satellite radio installation by hard wiring the power for the unit instead of using the power port adapter. We also ran the antenna to the exterior of the vehicle for better reception. While we had the dash apart was the perfect time to add a wired FM modulator to take the place of the wireless transmitter and improve the overall sound and eliminate static due to the poor performance of the wireless transmitter. Our Andreas, PA client now has better sound and a clean dash without all the wires.
