A recent client from Whitehall found Mobile Edge through Google when searching for a remote starter for his 2018 Lexus GS F. He wanted a two-way remote starter that would communicate with the vehicle to start and then return a signal to the remote to indicate the start was successful. He also wanted the remote starter to be compatible with a mobile application, because he’d had previous remote starters controlled by apps and found them convenient.
Our product specialists began the process of looking up the client’s vehicle to determine connectivity and discovered that he had a rare vehicle: Lexus made only 194 GS F models that were not the “Sport” edition. Regardless, we were able to use a Compustar two-way remote with the DroneMobile feature.
When our experts began the process of installing the remote starter, we also ensured the rear defrost feature would activate only when it is cold outside, so the client won’t have to scrape his windows as much when snow and ice accumulate.
Once the installation was complete, we showed the client how the unit and mobile application work. He was pleased!
