Our friends at Blocker Yamaha brought us an unusual project: A customer who was buying a new Yamaha Majesty Scooter wanted to get a radio installed. Brian took a look at the ride and decided that we could definitely handle the job.
Dru started by installing the JVC radio under the seat. It was not the easiest place to access, but it was the only place. All new wiring had to be run to power the radio. The 12 volt system made this part of the job easy. Custom bracketing was made to hold the radio in place and then Dru prepared to install the speakers.
The only available spaces were next to the handlebars. 3 1/2″ Memphis Power Reference speakers had to be used because of space restrictions. The customer was not concerned to leave these exposed since he does not plan on ever driving it in an foul weather.
Overall, this was a very interesting project and it sounded surprisingly well once it was completed. Lee from Blocker’s stopped in the next morning and picked up the scooter. It is our understanding that the customer was pleased with the end result.

Do you have any installers in San Diego or anything close? And could you give me an itemized price list on cost and labor equaling the total estimated cost if I were to get this job done by you or what I should expect to pay with some other customization audio shop? Thanks
